Site Surveys

Comprehensive and accurate surveys are an essential aspect of any construction project. They can help highlight potential problems allowing Project Managers to tailor their planning strategies to cater for and overcome known issues rather than having to react to "unforeseen circumstances".

Previous examples of survey work undertaken by Newpoint include the Kings Cross regeneration project.

Initially contracted for three months for one survey we were retained for fourteen months for an additional five reports incorporating intrusive surveys of a fully operational mainline station, its buildings and services. The surveys took in pipe services, electrics, communications, mechanical services and structural surveys including geo-technical investigations on anthrax and asbestos contaminated ground. All six were completed ahead of schedule and within budget, signed off and approved by Arups.
